About
A family-operated general contractor working across New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine since 2015. Small enough that you deal with the people doing the work, structured enough to run a permitted build from start to certificate.
Our story
Fantecelli General Services opened in 2015 with a single conviction: a homeowner should never have to become their own project manager.
The company started with small residential jobs in southern New Hampshire and grew outward as clients kept asking the same question — could we also handle the next phase, and the one after that. Answering yes meant learning the parts most contractors push away: permitting, inspection scheduling, sequencing trades so nobody shows up to a site that is not ready for them, and writing a scope precise enough that there is nothing left to argue about later.
A decade on, that is what the company actually sells. Not hours and not materials, but a single accountable party standing between a property owner and a dozen moving parts. Two services, three states, and the same crews who have been doing this work together for years.
We are family-operated and we have kept the company deliberately small. There is no sales department, no call center and no project handed to a subcontractor the client has never met. The people who quote the job are the people who show up to build it.
Same van, same crew, from the first day of demolition to the final walkthrough.
How we operate
Regardless of whether the project is one bathroom or a structural rebuild, these are constant.
A line-item scope with materials, labor, a start date and a finish date. What we can see is priced firm; what is still undecided is named as a written allowance. Nothing gets discovered at invoice time.
Liability coverage and workers' compensation on every job, with the certificate issued in the client's name and delivered before day one. We would rather a client verified it with the carrier than took our word for it.
Old New England structures hide things. When a wall comes open and the condition is worse than the plan assumed, the client hears it that same day, with photographs and a price, and decides before anything proceeds.
Floors and finishes protected, debris removed daily, work phased so the rooms a family actually needs stay available. A renovation should not force anyone out of their own house.
Insurance
Almost every contractor horror story traces back to the same root cause: an uninsured crew on the property. If a worker is injured on an uninsured job, or the work damages the structure, the liability does not stay with the contractor. It lands on the property owner and their own policy.
That is why coverage is not something we mention at the end of a sales conversation. General liability and workers' compensation are carried on every project, and the certificate goes out in the client's name before the first day of work.
Who we build for
Families renovating a property they intend to stay in, who want the job done once and done to code rather than done cheaply and revisited in four years.
Owners turning over units between tenancies, or rebuilding a building that has been neglected long enough that patching is no longer honest.
Agents and owners who need structural findings resolved and a punch list closed out cleanly before an inspection or a closing date.
Commercial build-outs and tenant improvements where a schedule slipping by two weeks means two weeks of lost revenue, not just inconvenience.
Service area
We work out of 87 Young St in Manchester, NH, which puts our crews within reach of job sites across New Hampshire, northeastern Massachusetts and southern Maine. If a town is not listed, call anyway — if we can reach it, we will quote it.
A written, no-obligation estimate from a fully insured general contractor who shows up on the day promised and finishes the job.
